Walk For The Wild 5K Sunday

Next week will be National Wildlife Refuge Week.  The Friends of Rydell and Glacial Ridge Refuges Association will get the week off to an early start this coming Sunday with their second annual Walk for the Wild 5K run/walk and fundraiser at Rydell National Wildlife Refuge southwest of Erskine.  Association board member Larissa Fitzgerald talks about the Walk for the Wild.

Fitzgerald says there is also an option of a guided trail walk, as well as going on your own.  There will also be a bingo scavenger hunt; if you get a bingo, your card will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a t-shirt.  Fitzgerald also says the 5K is free, with donations accepted.
