BBB Ada-Borup-West at Park Christian

It was a tough and physical early-season matchup between a pair of conference and section opponents that saw the Ada-Borup-West Cougars leave with the 62-56 road victory over the Park Christian Falcons. The Cougars were aggressive in attacking the basket in the first half as they built a 33-30 halftime lead. The Falcons made some tough shots in the first half, and offensive rebounds helped with the extra opportunities to keep close. Park Christian would come out of halftime on a 9-0 run and hold the Cougars scoreless for the first five minutes of the half to build the game’s largest lead at 39-30. The teams battled back and forth with the Cougars chipping away at the deficit and had the score tied four time during the next nine minutes before a Cadyn Dahl triple with 3:41 remaining was the final lead change as the Cougars extended the lead late from the free throw line to win 62-56.

With the victory the Cougars start their season 2-0 and will travel to Cass Lake-Bena on Thursday before hosting Lake Park -Audubon on Friday. Park Christian in now 0-2 on the season and will next host NCE-UH on Friday.
