The #1 ranked Cherry Tigers set the tone with a 13-0 start to the game in their 81-59 victory over the Ada-Borup-West Cougars. After the initial run to start the game the Cougars settled into a rhythm and kept pace until cherry would again use their up-tempo offense to go on a scoring run and end the half leading 42-21. While the game pace slowed in the second half with both teams getting to the free throw line more often, that would not cool down the Tigers as their offense kept scoring to keep the Cougars at bay.
