Sacred Heart at Mahnomen-Waubun

The Sacred Heart Eagles and Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds battled from start to finish with a back and forth battle that would see Sacred Heart pull away in the final minutes to get a 70 to 54 win.  Both teams were hot from the floor shooting, the difference was that Mahnomen Waubun had a short stretch where the shots wouldn’t fall and that would give the Eagles a chance to pull away and go on for the win.  Sacred Heart is now 14-1 and Mahnomen Waubun falls to 5-11.
