Bagley at Mahnomen-Waubun

Recap

Despite both teams struggling with turnovers and struggling to score the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds hit enough shots to get a 39-27 win over Bagley.  In the first half it would appear that there was a lid on both baskets with both teams struggling to get shots to fall, and turnovers would also be an issue with the half ending with the Thunderbirds leading 13-4.  The 2nd half would see some shots fall for both teams but turnovers would continue to be an issue.  THe Flyers would go on a run in the 2nd half cutting a 13 point deficit to 6, but Mahnomen Waubun would turn up the defense to create more turnovers and would capitalize on some of them turning them into points and would hold on for the win.  Mahnomen Waubun is now 7-12 while Bagley falls to 4-11.
