Minnesota sees 5th straight month of job growth
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development announced that Minnesota gained 9,500 jobs from October to November, which marks the fifth straight month of job growth. According to DEED Minnesota jobs grew 0.3% on a seasonally adjusted basis last month, outpacing the nation as whole (0.1%).
Minnesota’s unemployment rate also decreased one-tenth of a percentage point to 3.1%, compared to 3.7% average nationally. Over the last three months, jobs in Minnesota grew by 17,300. Over the year, Minnesota has gained a total of 47,829 jobs which is up 1.6% from last year.
