One Person Dead Following Two Vehicle Accident in Beltrami County

A Blackduck area woman was killed in a two vehicle accident over the weekend in Beltrami County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol Kathleen Rose Patch, age 76, was killed when the westbound 2014 Buick Verano she was driving crossed into the eastbound lanes of Lumberjack Road in Alaska Township. The Buick collided with a 2000 Ford F-150. The driver of the Ford sustained injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. Patch was not wearing a seat-belt at the time of the accident reported just before 7:30 am on Friday. Official say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
