Ada Borup West School Board renews operating referendum
The Ada Borup West School Board approved the renewal of an operating referendum at their meeting on Tuesday morning. Ada Borup West Superintendent Aaron Cook explains why the board was able to do this, and what it means for taxpayers in the district.
During the meeting Cook also gave the board a legislative update, and Cook said the board can expect to see minimal funds coming in from the state. Cook explains why, and tells us if this will have any effect on next year’s budget.
During the administrative reports it was announced that the school was the recipient of a sizable grant from the Dekko Foundation, that will go toward the Ada Borup West Summer Program. Cook tells us more.
Other items included an activities update, the purchase of iPads, the hiring of assistant spring coaches, and the approval of school nutrition program vendor.
