Ada City Council approves 6% tax increase
The Ada City Council approved a 6% tax increase at their meeting on Tuesday night. Ada Mayor John Hintz explains the reasons for the increase, and why they decided on 6%.
Hintz is also excited to announce that the city has awarded a bid for the Ada Event Center project, and he says the contractor should be getting to work soon.
After the resignation of councilman Kim Lewis, Hintz says the council is looking to appoint a new council member, and he encourages anyone interested to reach out to him or the city.
Finally Hintz says the council is looking for more than just a council member as they are also looking for individuals interested in serving on a committee.
