Ada City Council Meets 

The Ada City Council met for their December tonight. The big topic of the night was a discussion based around the creation of the School Resource Officer position and how the bill was going to be split between the City of Ada and the Ada Borup West School District. Ada Mayor John Hintz recaps what was decided. 

While the Council did pass a 50/50 split of the bill the City Council will have to reconvene on Tuesday next week for a special session after Mayor Hintz vetoed the boards decision. Hintz explains his reasoning for using the veto. 

Another major topic discussed at the meeting was the 2024 tax levy that was passed. Hintz explains what the council decided to approve.
