Ada Family Named Norman County 2023 Farm Family Of The Year

Norman County’s Farm Family of the Year comes from Ada.  The Germolus family was chosen 2023 Farm Family of the Year by the University of Minnesota.  Austen Germolus talks about the recognition.

Germolus says the farm has been in the family for 140 years.

The three boys are ages six, five and two…so it will be a while before one or all of them will take over the farm. Germolus talks about what he raises on his farm.

The Germolus family will be officially recognized in a ceremony Thursday, August 3 at the annual Farmfest near Redwood Falls.
