Ada man goes on Veterans Honor Flight

Last week, The ND/MN Veterans Honor Flight traveled with 101 veterans to Washington D.C. One of the veterans on the flight was Wesley Thomas of Ada. Wes served as a tank and heavy truck mechanic in the Army’s 124th Ordinance Company from 1959-1962. Wes’ time in the Army took him to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland and Germany.

The ND/MN Veterans Honor Flight is a 501c3 non-profit, 100% volunteer organization that takes veterans, free of charge, to visit the memorials built in their honor. Flights occur in the spring and fall of each year, pending fundraising.
