Ada Police Department cracking down on distracted driving
As cell phones become more ingrained in our everyday life, the amount of distracted driving cases continue to rise. The Ada Police Department is attempting to crack down on distracted driving through their Toward Zero Deaths campaign, so that our streets and roads stay safer for everyone. Ada Police Chief Steve Hager tells us more.
Hager also explains what’s considered distracted driving, as it’s more than just a driver being caught on their phone.
This isn’t the only Toward Zero Deaths campaign the Ada Police Department will be doing this year, as Hager says they have a couple different waves with different focuses coming up later this spring and summer.
Hager was a guest on the KRJB Kaleidoscope, which airs weekdays at 9:00 AM on KRJB 106.5 FM.
