Ada Police Department prepared for Norman County Fair

The Norman County Fair will kick off today, which means that it is officially one of the busiest times of year for Norman County Law Enforcement. Ada Police Chief Steve Hager says his department is ready for the fair, and that they will be patrolling the fairgrounds all week. 

When it comes to the fair, Hager says they always have a few cases of children being separated from their parents, and that it’s important for parents to set rules and boundaries with their kids, so that these situations can be avoided. 

The influx of people in town also means that there will be an increase in traffic, and Hager reminds drivers to slow down, and be on the lookout for pedestrians.
