Ada Resident reflects on life in Nazi Germany 

Coming up later this week, Ada’s very own Annelee Woodstrom will be celebrating her 100th Birthday. While she has been in Ada most of her life, it hasn’t always been home, as she actually grew up in Germany during the rise of Adolf Hitler. R&J News had the chance to talk with Annelee, who talks more about growing up in Germany during this time, and her first interactions with the Nazi party. 

Annelee says World War 2 started soon after, and she explains what it was like to live in Germany during this time. 

After the Nazi defeat in World War Two, Annelee says she then met her husband during the Allied Occupation of Germany.
