Aitkin County Sheriff Guida talks Violent Crimes Enforcement Team, Job Openings

(Aitkin, MN) — Removing dangerous narcotics and weapons off the streets has kept the recently created Aitkin Itasca Mille Lacs Violent Crimes Enforcement Team active with enforcing the law and creating new opportunities for the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office.

In our monthly conversation with Aitkin County Sheriff Dan Guida he spoke of the recent bust within Aitkin city limits.

A similar situation also took place in McGregor.

Beyond Drug Enforcement, the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office will be in search of a new deputy.

The Aitkin County Jail could always use some help.

There is also anticipation for an opening as a dispatcher.
