Alyssa Manning Joins Lakewood Health System Medical Staff

Staples, MN – January 13, 2023 — Alyssa Manning, family nurse practitioner, joins Lakewood Health System’s oncology medical staff.

Originally from Rock Lake, ND, Manning earned her undergraduate degree from Jamestown University and her master’s degree from North Dakota State University. She is a member of the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.

Manning will work closely with Dr. Wade Swenson, caring for hematology and oncology patients. She has previous experience in cardiology, diabetes management, and interventional radiology.

Manning and her husband, Jon, have two adult children: Mitchell and Jenna. In her free time, Manning enjoys hiking, walking her dog, downhill skiing, cross country skiing and time spent at the lake or on the river.
