Applications open for Soil Health Financial Assistance Grants

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture announced that applications are now open for their Soil Health Financial Assistance Grants. According to the Department of Agriculture these grants will be available for individual producers, producer groups, and local governments to purchase or retrofit soil health equipment. Grant awards will provide up to 50% cost-share, with a minimum award of $500 and a maximum award of $50,000. 

The Request for Proposals and application can be found at www.mda.state.mn.us. Applications are due on September 15, 2023 with the awards being announced by January 1, 2024.
