Arctic Cat Sold

THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN—Arctic Cat has a new owner who has previous experience with the company.  Former Arctic Cat executive Brad Darling and an investment group have acquired the Thief River Falls-based manufacturer of snowmobiles, ATVs and side-by-sides.  Darling had spent 17 years at Arctic Cat before becoming CEO and President of ARGO in 2016.  ARGO makes amphibious xtreme terrain vehicles…and Darling will remain with ARGO as he becomes CEO and President of Arctic Cat.  In a press release, Darling said “Today is the start of a new chapter, one where Arctic Cat returns to the race, but with a powerful understanding: this race is never-ending and our intent is to lead.”   No word on how much Darling and his investment group paid for Arctic Cat.
