Area Athletes Sign Football Letters of Intent
Wednesday was the first day that Division 2 colleges and universities could sign high school seniors to football national letters of intent. Two teammates at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton will remain teammates at Minnesota State-Moorhead: offensive lineman Josh Dudgeon and defensive back Brody Friend. Brayden Spears, a kicker and punter from Thief River Falls, has also signed a letter of intent with Minnesota State-Moorhead.
Elsewhere, Bemidji State signed two players from the area: wide receiver Ryan Kangas from Win-E-Mac and defensive lineman Tyler Cruchet of Central Cass. Tyler is a three-time All State player in North Dakota and holds the Squirrels’ record for career quarterback sacks with 19.
