Area Farmers reminded to beware of powerlines 

With planting season currently underway Wild Rice Electric in Mahnomen is reminding producers to beware of electric poles and wires while they are working in their fields. Tommy Houdek of Wild Rice Electric tells us more. 

If you do hit a powerline, Houdek reminds you, and any onlookers to remain in their vehicle until help arrives.
