Area Law Enforcement Agencies celebrating National Telecommunicators Week

It’s National Telecommunicators Week, and police and fire departments are celebrating by  thanking those who work behind scenes. Clearwater County Sheriff Darin Halverson tells us more about National Telecommunicators Week, and he thanks those who work as dispatchers. 

The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office has been dealing with a shortage of dispatchers , and Sheriff Halverson is excited to announce that this is no longer a problem after a series of hires. 

National Telecommunicators Week was first established in 1981, and was nationally recognized by Congress in 1991.
