Area Schools seeing success in new Cell Phone Policies
Many area schools adopted new cell phone policies this summer, after the Minnesota Legislature required Minnesota schools to have policies in place. Lake Park Audubon was one area school that made changes to their policy, and High School Principal Art Meyer says these policies are already having a positive outcome on his students.
Mahnomen Superintendent Jeff Bisek says he has seen more of the same in the Mahnomen School District.
Other area school districts who adopted new cell phone policies this year include the Waubun-Ogema-White Earth, and Fertile Beltrami school districts.
