Area Watersheds seeking federal funding for water projects 

The Red River Watershed Management Board (RRWMB) held a special meeting in Ada on Tuesday, to have a discussion with Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach about Federal Funding for projects in the Red River Basin. RRWMB Executive Director Rob Sip tells us more about what they’re asking from the Federal Government. 

Sip also talked about some of the RRWMB’s concerns with federal government funding. 

While federal funding is important to the RRWMB, ultimately most of their funding comes from the State Government. Sip tells us where things stand in the Minnesota State Legislature, when it comes to the RRWMB receiving state funding.
