Retired NHL player Neil Sheehy joined us this morning for a fund raiser to help Nick Hagen and Josh Urban with Medical Expenses after their boating accident on Rainy Lake this past month. The other recipient will be the family at Northeraire Houseboats after their devastating fire that destroyed their home and business office.

The Minnesota bear hunting season opens Thursday, Sept. 1, and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is once again asking hunters to avoid shooting marked research bears.
