Crookston Council Candidate Accused

A Crookston city council candidate was in court Thursday.  36-year-old Derek Jon Brekken is accused of violating a domestic abuse no-contact order. The incident allegedly happened this past Tuesday at 8:12 AM at 217 S Broadway in Crookston, according to court documents. No further information about the offense is available at this time.
