Fertile Woman Volunteers At Minnesota State Fair

A young woman from Fertile is volunteering at the Minnesota State Fair this week.  Sidney Erickson is working with the Miracle of Birth Center. More than 200 calves, piglets and lambs will be born at the Miracle of Birth Center during the State Fair’s 12 day run.

Wild Rice Harvest Update

There are a lot of happy wild rice harvesters on the White Earth Reservation.  White Earth Wild Rice Manager Cliff Crowell says the harvest so far has been excellent. Crowell explains what the return rate is. Crowell says the wild rice harvest could continue for another month, weather permitting.
