Autonomous sugar beet weeder being shown at International Sugar Beet Show

R&J Ag Reporter Nick Revier is in attendance at the International Sugar Beet Institute Beet Show in Grand Forks, where a new autonomous sugar beet weeder is being demonstrated by Aigen. Aigen representative Kenny Lee tells us more about this new technology. 

Lee explained how their demonstration at the sugar beet show works. Lee also says the plan for the weeder is for it to be deployed during the 2024 growing season around the Fargo/Moorhead region, with improvements coming soon after.
