Back to School Preparation: Sleep and Vaccines
The back to school season is here, which means that parents and guardians should be starting the process of getting their children back into their regular school routines, so that they can start the school year off strong. Kelsey Merkens of Norman-Mahnomen Public Health says that parents should start getting their children back into their regular sleep routines.
As for other back to school preparation, Merkens says parents should also be checking on their child’s vaccine status, as Minnesota law does require children to receive certain vaccines.
