Barnesville City Council Meets

BARNESVILLE, MN—There’s going to be a second road project coming up in Barnesville.  You may know about the Highway 9 project that starts in June.  On Monday night, the Barnesville City Council approved a second project.  Barnesville City Administrator Jeremy Cossette says that will involve 2nd Avenue SE.

Cossette says word on 2nd Avenue SE will start sometime this week.

Also at Monday’s Council meeting, Cossette says a decorum policy was passed.  This means anyone attending a city meeting in Barnesville will have to behave.

Cossette points out that Alexandria’s city council recently passed a decorum policy and Detroit Lakes was scheduled to vote on a decorum policy at their city council meeting on Tuesday (May 9).
