Barnesville Girls BKB Coach Resigns

Barnesville High School Girls Basketball Coach Ryan Bomstad has stepped down after 12 seasons.  Bomstad turned in his resignation on May 20.  In his resignation letter, Bomstad said “It is time to watch my children grow up and be at their events being a dad.”  Valley News Live says it has received several reports of Bomstad being verbally abusive toward players.  Barnesville’s superintendent says the complaints against Bomstad are being reviewed.
