Be safe on the lake this Independence Day 

Independence Day weekend is one of the busiest and most dangerous days for lake goers on Minnesota’s 10,000 plus lakes. Mahnomen County Sheriff Josh Guenther gives some boating safety reminders so that you can do your part in keeping Minnesota’s lakes safer this Independence Day. 

Guenther also reminds boaters to do their part in stopping aquatic hitchhikers this Independence Day.
