Bear Hit By Pickup In Glyndon

GLYNDON, MN—A black bear was killed after it was struck by a pickup early Tuesday morning in Glyndon.  The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it was called just after 5am to 28th Avenue South in Glyndon for a report of someone hitting a small black bear with their pickup truck.  Sheriff’s Deputies say the bear was killed and the driver was not injured.  Deputies also say there haven’t been any reports of bears in the area recently.
