Berhow Acquitted

A man from Fertile who was on trial for attempted murder and assault has been acquitted of all charges.  29-year-old Oliver Berhow was accused regarding a November 2021 shooting in Oklee.  Berhow was alleged to have shot Cody Landrus after Landrus confronted him with a baseball bat.  Landrus survived, despite being shot in the head.  Berhow’s jury trial began Tuesday in Red Lake County and on Thursday the jury found Berhow not guilty of all charges.
