ST. PAUL, MN—A Polk County judge has been nominated for a spot on the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Judge Anne Rasmusson is the assistant chief judge in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District. She has established and served on the White Earth/Mahnomen DWI and Drug Court, and the DWI Courts for Norman, Polk and Red Lake Counties.
Earlier this week, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture issued an advisory to farmers who have done business with Hansen-Mueller Company, which operates in Duluth. Hansen-Mueller filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Monday. Minnesota State Senator Rob Kupec of Moorhead says farmers who have worked with Hansen-Mueller to make sure they get the money they’re owed.…
