Bonds Approved For Fertile Community Center Improvements

FERTILE, MN—Thursday night, the City of Fertile held a public hearing to approve issuing general obligation bonds for renovating the Fertile Community Center.  Fertile City Administrator Liden tells us the amount of bonds that will be issued.

Among the improvements to the Community Center will be a new HVAC system, siding, windows, roof repairs to increase energy efficiency, and replacing the door on the building’s south side with one that is handicap accessible.

Liden says work on the Community Center will hopefully start early this summer.
