Brave Like Gabe Cross Country Race

PERHAM, MN—Three runners from Hillsboro/Central Valley finished in the top ten in Saturday’s Brave Like Gabe cross country meet in Perham.  Freshman Claire Grinde took first place in the Gold Varsity Girls division in a time of 18:07.1.  Burros teammate Kayla Moch finished 7th and Caroline Anderson was 9th.  

In the Boys Black Varsity race, Drew Knecht of Hawley was 4th, Jed Toms of DGF 9th, Ryland Carlson of Hillsboro/Central Valley in 33rd place and Chase Chisholm of Ada-Borup-West was 38th in a time of 19:59.

In the Girls Black Varsity race, Brianne Myers of Ada-Borup-West finished 8th in a time of 20:49.3.  Sienna Marshall and Jovie Marshall of Barnesville came in 13th and 14th, respectively.  Rachel Swan of Hawley was 17th and Olivia Anagnost of Lake Park-Audubon was 18th.
