Ulen, MN — A retired Ulen-Hitterdal Superintendent is temporarily back as the district’s top Administrator while the current Superintendent deals with a legal matter. Ryan Baron was hired this spring to take over for Todd Cameron, but Baron was recently placed on Administrative Leave while he deals with trespassing charges from his previous school district in Karlstad. At Wednesday night’s meeting, the Ulen-Hitterdal School Board approved an interim contract with Cameron until Superintendent Baron’s legal matters are resolved.

Cameron did not have a timeline for how long he would serve as Interim Superintendent. He did however provide a timeline and update on the proposed childcare facility referendum, which will likely take place late this summer.

The Ulen-Hitterdal School Board also held their annual reorganizational meeting and approved lane changes for Eric Lee and Nikki Forsythe.
