Cass Lake-Bena Holding Referendum this Fall for New Elementary
Cass Lake, MN — The Cass Lake-Bena School District will be asking district voters on November 8th to pass a referendum to help them construct a new elementary school. The district is looking for $39,750,000 to build a new K-5 school on the same campus on their high school and middle school. Cass Lake-Bena Superintendent Sue Chase says this building referendum would provide a 21st century learning environment and allow them to repurpose their current elementary school for Alternative Learning and Early Childhood space.
According to the Cass Lake-Bena School website, the average homeowner tax impact for the referendum would be around $18.75 a month. For more information, visit www.clbs.k12.mn.us.
