Train vs Road Grader In Mahnomen County

A train struck a road grader in Mahnomen County Monday afternoon.  The Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office tells R&J News the accident happened around 4:15pm in Island Lake Township.  A Sheriff’s deputy determined a BNSF train had struck the rear section of the road grader.  There was minimal damage and no injuries were reported.

Hitterfest is Saturday 

The City of Hitterdal will be holding their annual Hitterfest celebration on Saturday, June 22 starting at 10:00 AM.
