Changes in SNAP Program to have effect on local governments in Minnesota 

Changes will be coming to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (also known as SNAP) in 2027, and those changes are expected to have a major impact on states across the United States. However, for those in Minnesota, the impact will be felt on a more local level. Minnesota State Senator Rob Kupec (DFL-Moorhead) explains. 

North Dakota has a similar SNAP system to North Dakota, in which the local would be footed with the bill to fund the SNAP program.
