Child Passenger Safety: What does the law say? 

Its Child Passenger Safety Week, and Norman-Mahnomen Public Health is one of the many organizations that are celebrating, by promoting proper passenger safety. For children, the most important aspect of passenger safety is the proper use of car seats, but what does the law require? Norman-Mahnomen Public Health Car Seat Technician Ashley Braun explains what Minnesota law states. 

Braun also explains how you can determine when your child is ready to move up to the next car seat. 

Eventually your child will be ready to move out of their carseat, but Braun says they need to pass a five step test before they can do so.
