Chippewa National Forest Christmas tree permits now available 

The Chippewa National Forest Christmas tree permit program is back for another holiday season. The Christmas tree permit program allows people to go to Chippewa National Forest and cut down up to 5 trees to use for the holidays. Mike Stearly of Chippewa National Forest shares how you can get your permit today. 

While many may be hesitant to cut down trees, Stearly says that this program will actually have a positive environmental impact.
