City of Emily to Hold an Informational Meeting

The City of Emily will hold an informational meeting for the public on August 15 at Emily City Hall. The meeting, which will discuss the exploration of Emily’s manganese deposits, will be preceded by an open house from 2-6. The panel discussion meeting will be held from 6:30-9pm in the gymnasium. Several interested parties have been invited to attend the open house, including the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Emily City Council, neither of which will participate in the evening panel discussion. Although a quorum of the Emily City Council will be present, they won’t be conducting any city business during the meeting.
