City of Gary to sell former grounds of Norman County East Elementary

The Gary City Council met in regular session on Wednesday night, and one of the items up for discussion was what to do with the former grounds of the Norman County East Elementary School. Gary Mayor Buck Engen explains what the city will be doing with the grounds. 

Engen went over the rest of Wednesday’s agenda, which included a purchase for the Gary Wellness Center. 

The Gary City Council will meet next on Wednesday, December 10 at Gary City Hall.
