City of Hillsboro Secures $25K in grants to help plant new trees
The City of Hillsboro announced last week that they have secured over $25,000 in forest service grants in order to plant new trees across the city. Hillsboro City Commission President Levi Reese tells us more.
Reese also gave a timeline on when he thinks the trees will be planted as well as where they will be planted.
Reese says this project is important to him and necessary for the city after a recent study showed that the City’s tree population was not in good shape.
