City of Hillsboro to close pool for the season next week 

Progress is ramping up on the Hillsboro Electrical Project, as the project will be hitting a major milestone soon. Hillsboro City Auditor Casey Eggermont told R&J News that bids for the project will be going out soon. 

In other city news, Eggermont says the summer pool season will be ending after a busy summer. 

As we move into fall, Eggermont says the city is now gearing up for budgeting season. 

The City of Hillsboro will be holding a budget public hearing on Monday, September 21.
