CLC’s Cultural Thursday to discuss culture and values of Anishinaabe

(Brainerd, MN) — Central Lakes College’s virtual Cultural Thursday presentation will take on the culture and values of the Anishinaabe on Thursday, March 3rd at 12pm via Zoom with guest speaker Susan Beaulieu.

Beaulieu, an Anishinaabe citizen of the Red Lake Nation, has been working with tribal communities for over 14 years in a variety of capacities, including projects development, training development, teaching, and facilitation. She is also an extension educator for the University of Minnesota Extension in Family Development & Family Resilience, where she provides resources and support to tribal nations and communities on topics concerning trauma and toxic stress, ACEs, epigenetic neuroscience, resilience, and healing.
