Clearbrook Volunteer Fire Department Sponsors a Fish Fry and Fundraiser

The Clearbrook Volunteer Fire Department will be sponsoring a fish fry and fundraiser on Saturday, April 29th. The event will be held in the gym of the Clearbrook Community Center and will start at 5:00 pm. The fish fry will be prepared by the fire fighters with help from their family and friends. To-go orders will be available as well. Department priorities for the coming year are focused on replacing and upgrading an aging ambulance used to respond to emergency medical calls, transport water rescue equipment and provide an indoor climate controlled space for rehab of firefighters during extended calls. Personal protective equipment is also vital to safety on any emergency scene. The Clearbrook Volunteer Fire Department is gathering bids now for the costs to strip, buff and restripe the new truck, as well as some lighting and radio equipment upgrades.
