Community Input Needed

The Aitkin School Board would like community input to help develop a new strategic plan for the district. During the July 17 meeting, Board members discussed ways to make that happen. A survey is available at isd1.org for people to give their feedback. The Board needs a committee in place before the September 12 strategic planning listening session. Members will submit names of community representatives who, once narrowed down to six by the superintendent, will sit in on the listening session and three other meetings. Staff members will also be chosen for the committee. Names need to be submitted to the Board Chair by September 1st.
